 Our Bollywood celebrities have a huge fan following which spreads across continents and these celebs have even been offered Hollywood films by producers and directors from Hollywood due to their popularity. We have seen celebs like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan and many other Bollywood celebs in Hollywood projects but there are many stars who have rejected Hollywood offers due to various reasons. So here's a list of Bollywood actors who have rejected Hollywood offers.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

 Irrespective of her huge fan following and previous Hollywood collaborations Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had rejected many Hollywood offers, of which one was of starring opposite Hollywood sensation Brad Pitt in Wolfgang Petersen's 'Troy'. Aishwarya rejected the role of Briseis, in 'Troy' due to the closeness the character shared with Brad in the film, which didn't go down well with Aish. The film was later nominated for an Oscar and the film was a huge hit overseas and one of the highlights of Brad Pitt's career. 

Shah Rukh Khan

Known as the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan was offered the role of Prem Kumar, a game show host in Danny Boyle's 'Slumdog Millionaire' but Shah Rukh rejected the offer as he thought that the role wasn't good enough for him. His loss became Anil Kapoor's gain and the film won several Academy Awards. 

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan is famously known as the Greek God of Bollywood due to his well-sculpted body and charming looks, and when you have acting skills and breath-taking dance moves like him, then there's no stopping you. 'Fast and Furious' director, Rob Cohen is apparently a big fan of Hrithik and wanted to cast him in 'Fast and Furious 7' but Hrithik rejected the offer due to his packed schedule in Bollywood. Hrithik was also offered the role of Vicente, in 'Pink Panther 2' but the 'Kaabil' actor rejected that offer too. 

                              Deepika Padhukon

 Deepika Padukone made her Hollywood debut last year starring opposite Vin Diesel in the high-octane action flick 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage', she would have made her Hollywood debut much sooner hadn't she rejected the offer to star in the seventh instalment of 'Fast and Furious'. Deepika is said to have rejected the film offers as she was busy with Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year' which also starred Shah Rukh Khan.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is a known face in Hollywood due to her hit television series and other Hollywood projects. Our very own desi-girl even starred in the action comedy flick 'Baywatch' opposite the likes of Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron but not many know that Priyanka was offered a major role in Tarsem Singh's 'Immortals' which starred Henry Cavill in the lead. Priyanka was reportedly busy shooting for '7 Khoon Maaf' at the time the film was offered to her so she rejected it and her loss became Freida Pinto's gain. 

                                   Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is currently running high on success with hit films like 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', 'Jolly LLB 2' and 'Rustom' but very fewer people know that the Khiladi Kumar had rejected a Hollywood film opposite Dwayne Johnson as he wanted to focus on his career in Bollywood. In an interview, he even said that "I am happy and satisfied with the Bollywood offers. Here, I have a huge fan group to entertain and I am not going to fit into Hollywood so I keep refusing to do projects there."
