Kotak Mahindra Bank told the customers that their questions, debit and credit card related to the bank account will be addressed through Whatsapp.

Kotak Mahindra Bank and Saraswat Cooperative Bank have launched Whatsapp Banking to help you get updates or leverage services through chat platforms. Banks said on Friday that they have started providing various banking services through the message platform.

Saraswat Bank said in release through the 'Release on WhatsApp' service, customers get notifications with end-to-end encryption instead of text messages Along with customer interaction, you can also start a check balance, mini statement. 

Other functionality such as Mobile Banking Registration, Product Details, Request / Inquiry, Form / Application Download will be issued in a phased manner.

Kotak Mahindra Bank told the customers that their questions, debit and credit card related to the bank account will be addressed through Whatsapp.

The Saraswat Co-operative Bank also said that it has become the first bank in the country's co-operative sector to remain on the WhatsApp Channel for notification and BO services.

Facebook's proprietary WhatsSpe messaging platform has recently launched 'Whatsap for Business' service, 

which allows users to send text messages, boarding passes, receipts, tickets, account details, among other users, in response to user initiation in order to send notification Uses interaction.

This is the first time that the banking sector in the country is going live on the WhatsApp Channel for notification and Bot services for its customers.

Customers of Kotak Mahindra Bank are taking the following steps which can be taken for What'sapp banking

1. First of all, you need to register yourself by giving a missed call at 9718566655 with your registered mobile number.

2. Add '022 6600 6022' to your mobile contacts

3. Visit WhatsApp, search for a contact and send "help" as a message to know the list of available services

4. Just type the number against the service like "1" and follow the steps given on the screen.

With these simple steps, you will find the services mentioned above easily on your handset.
