Delhi Petrol Dealers Association (DPDA) said that the Delhi government may be on Monday for fuel crisis because all the 400 petrol pumps along with the CNG distribution units in the national capital will remain closed against the EAP government refusing to reduce the VAT on fuel. . . On Tuesday, the petrol pump in Delhi will be closed from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

On September 4, the Center had reduced the rate of petrol and diesel by Rs 2.50 per liter. After this, VAT was reduced by various states including neighboring Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. However, the Delhi government refused to reduce the VAT, resulting in fuel becoming more expensive on the banks of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
The DPDA chairman said that due to the difference in prices, diesel sales in Delhi decreased by 50-60 per cent and in petrol by 25 per cent. He said that on Monday, all 400 pumps in Delhi will not buy nor will sell petrol, diesel and CNG.
Urging the Arvind Kejriwal-led government to reduce the VAT on petrol and diesel, Singhania said that this has reduced the revenue.
The DPDA encouraged the Delhi government to immediately reduce the VAT on petrol and diesel and to encourage the passengers to buy Euro VI fuel and save the livelihood of the employees and save the owners of Delhi Petrol Pump and save the state's revenue loss.
Growth also comes when the prices of petrol and diesel were cut for the fourth day on Sunday when the prices of international oil prices softened, giving consumers constant relief from some relief rates. According to the price notification of government-owned oil companies, the price of petrol was 25 paise per liter and diesel was cut by 17 paise. Petrol in Delhi is priced at Rs 81.74 per liter and diesel at Rs 75.19 per liter.
